Hi, there! I am very excited about the release of Diamond and Pearl on the 22nd (Earth Day!) and have pre-ordered D/P! And it sounds like many others are counting down the days on the calendar and have pre-ordered it – in fact, 533, 000 people have pre-ordered D/P so far! For those who don’t know about it (I learned about D/P August 06), D/P is the next generation of Pokemon! So far, there has been 3 generations – the original/Kanto gen, the Johto (anime) gen, and the Hoenn (nature) gen. Diamond and Pearl (the abstract gen) are the fourth. To see all the new Pokemon, go HERE and HERE. As well, I would like everyone to know that I am a slow but steady person – my walkthrough may not be available until the end of this year, unless all you readers out there want me to have some parts incomplete and fill them in later. In other words: do you want me to do a slow but extremely throuough and awesome job on the walkthrough, or would you rather have it published a bit at a time so you can see the walkthrough so far (this would mean that it may not be the finished product)? Diamond and Pearl are released!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! (but we can’t get them until they’re shipped – waah waah waah WAAWAWAWAWA)
Pokemon Battle Revolution has been announced on Pokemon.com! It’s a Pokemon game for the Wii, following in the steps of Colusseum and XD: Gale of Darkness. There are some Japanese video clips; I’ll post them later.
I now have Diamond!!!!!!!!!!! My current best Pokemon are:
Terra-Oak (Torterra, a ankylosaurus/turtle ‘Continent’ Pokemon), Lightning (Luxray, a lion ‘Gleam Eyes’ Pokemon), Tempest (Dialga, a legendary dragon ‘Time’ Pokemon), Shadow (Azelf, a legendary ‘Willpower’ Pokemon), Sunbeam (Uxie, a legendary ‘Knowledge’ Pokemon), Aurableu (Lucario, a wolf ‘Aura’ Pokemon), and Tornado (Staraptor, a hawk ‘Predator’ Pokemon). Sorry for getting back to everyone so late, but I was on a long trip. Also, I am working on a walkthrough, but it is only partially completed. As for Diamond/Pearl: they are very much improved. The graphics are awesome; they got back day and night; there are a lot of new Pokemon (although a lot of them I call ‘The Abstract Generation’ – check out Kricketune or Purugly, Heatran or Budew!); and the animation with the Dialga/Palkia encounter is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! (check it out for yourself – too cool to explain) However, there is limited use of the Touch Screen, and only while performing certain activities can you use it. But overall, a great generation. I’m expecting, in the pattern of Ruby & Sapphire, then Emerald, Gold & Silver, then Crystal, and Red & Blue, then Yellow, that there will be another expansion to D/P – the Darkrai version? I made an unbeatable team – more on that later…
PS. I think replacing Mew with Arceus is the wrong idea. I liked Mew better – Arceus looks like a demented, fluffed-up Absol jumping through a hoop!
Wow, was I busy! Writing this walkthrough has kept me from posting for months now! But I promise I will write more when it’s done… as for now, I restarted my game on Diamond for the sake of the walkthrough. I had beaten the E4 and Champ, gotten up to Giratina, and had really good Pokemon such as Torterra, Luxray, Staraptor, Dialga, Gastrodon, and Lucario. So I traded them back to my restarted game. Anyway, things have been hectic; please don’t expect many posts until I’m done! Thank you!!
